Parenting in the Time of the Plague

This really has nothing to do with Corona, but the virus itself is a sign of the times. Parenting these days is difficult. I guess every generation of parents has at one point said that, but the stakes are higher and the threshold for adolescence is lower these days. Kids have access to more information at their fingertips, and therefore, believe themselves to be smarter at an early age, thus questioning not only parental but even simple practical authority such as the basic rule of law.
